Backstage News On Why WWE Changed Ronda Rousey vs Mickie James Plans, Big E Comments On WWE – FOX Deal?

As noted, WWE Raw star Ronda Rousey was scheduled to face Mickie James in singles match during this past week’s WWE overseas tour, however, those matches were scrapped, and in their place, Rousey teamed up with Ember Moon and Natalya to face the team of Mickie James, Ruby Riott, and Liv Morgan.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE changed Rousey’s singles matches to six-woman tag team matches because official felt Rousey was not yet ready to compete in singles matches.

Rousey is set to make her singles match debut at WWE Money in the Bank when she faces Nia Jax for the Raw Women’s Title.

Big E Comments On WWE – FOX Deal?

New Day member Big E Tweeted the following today, possibly commenting on the big news that WWE and FOX are close to reaching a five-year, $1 billion deal:
