Actress Zoë Kravitz and Karl Glusman held a second wedding in Paris, France on the weekend, following their reported secret wedding earlier this year. The couple reportedly always planned to throw a second big party with their friends and family after their clandestine nuptials in May.
The couple started their wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner at Parisian restaurant, Restaurant Lapérouse E! News reports, on Friday night, with the wedding itself on Saturday June 29 at Zoë’s dad, Lenny Kravitz’s, house in Paris.
People shared an image of the couple on Instagram beaming en route to their rehearsal dinner holding hands. The bride wore an exceptionally rock ‘n’ roll wedding look of white crochet beaded dress over white bike shorts and crop top, paired with low-heeled white pumps.
According to US Vogue the “crochet and pearl cocktail dress” is from modern bridal label Danielle Frankel by Danielle Hirsch. Other pieces from Frankel’s bridal collection include jumpsuits and silk camis with matching pants, ideal for the bride who wants to make a memorable fashion statement on their wedding day outside of the traditional bridal look.
While further details are yet to be released about the rehearsal dinner, People shared an image on Twitter taken at the rehearsal dinner noting that Kravitz’s famous family including her mum, Lisa Bonnet, her dad, Lenny Kravitz, and her step-father, Aquaman’s Jason Mamoa, were all in attendance along with her Big Little Lies co-stars.
While pictures of the couple’s Saturday wedding haven’t surfaced yet, People reports the nuptials themselves were a star-studded affair, with Kravitz’s Big Little Lies “family” including Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern all in attendance along with Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Eddie Redmayne, Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne.
TMZ shared a picture of the proud father of the bride, Lenny Kravitz, on his daughter’s wedding day, looking every inch the rock star in a YSL suit with unbuttoned tie and aviator shades.
Having a second wedding is becoming a celebrity trend of 2019, Karlie Kloss recently threw a “prairie party”-themed second wedding after marrying Joshua Kushner last year; Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas also staged a second wedding over the weekend after tying the knot in Las Vegas earlier this year.
