WWE Working On New Programming
It is being reported that the WWE is working on a new series for Snapchat. Although not a lot of details have been released, it is said it would be a monthly series and debut around the time of Summerslam in August. It will be interesting to see what the WWE can accomplish on the format largely meant for pictures and short video clips. If you remember the WWE experimented with the short video format with the Tout website, meant to be the WWE’s version of the now defunct Vine app and website. Snapchat is primarily for use on Cell phones and mobile media so it will be interesting to see how this style of programming will be accomplished.
The WWE is also working on an “Ask Me Anything” style segment in the vein of Reddit. Recent the WWE sent out a tweet asking for fans questions to Jeff Hardy. It is not known if this will be turned into a full-time show or just a segment on a different show, but the company tweeted that “your question might be answered on a future @WWENetwork show!”
Luke Gallows, Corey Graves, and Goldust were all filmed material for Ink, Inc. The material was shot at Gallows’ tattoo parlor in Atlanta Georgia.
