WWE Smackdown Viewership Rises Slightly Heading into Money in the Bank

This week’s edition of WWE Smackdown was the final stop on the road to Money in the Bank this weekend, and the show was coming off the least watched episode of the year last week.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Smackdown viewership averaged 2.183 million, which is up slightly from last week’s 2.138 million viewership average.

In addition to this week’s WWE Smackdown being the go-home show for the PPV on Sunday night, the show also featured a first-time ever match in Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura. The show also featured a ten-woman tag team match.

This week’s WWE Smackdown ranked #9 in overall cable TV viewership for the night.
