WWE Raw Season Premiere Posts Best Number Since SummerSlam
WWE closed out the month and rang in a new season in a major way this week. The September 30 edition of Monday Night Raw was watched by an average of 2,570,000 viewers, up more than 16% week-over-week. It was the most-watched episode of the show in 7 weeks, since the night after SummerSlam.
Raw’s first hour brought in 2.7 million viewers (+13.9%), and dropped to 2.59 million in the second hour (+17.1%). The third and final hour did continue the usual trend of falling once again, but it still did 2.42 million viewers (+18.2%), the best third hour in 6 weeks. In an increasingly rare turn of events, this week’s show was actually up from the October 1, 2018 show by nearly 12%.
