WWE RAW RESULTS (2/10): ONTARIO, CA.
We enter the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California as the pyro goes off and the camera pans the crowd to kick off tonight’s Monday Night RAW.
In-Ring AOP, Buddy Murphy, and The Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins begins speaking as Buddy Murphy and the members of AOP stand behind Rollins in the center of the ring. Rollins says he’s here to make the tough decisions for the fans and to lead RAW into the future. Rollins sets up a clip from last Monday in the 6-Man Tag Team match.
Kevin Owens and The Viking Raiders interrupted Rollins match later in the evening, costing him a chance at the WWE championship. Rollins continues on saying forgiveness is a virtue but his patience is running very thin when it comes to Owens and his friends. Rollins is here to share a message of unity and progression and he will not leave the ring until that message is heard.
The music sounds for Kevin Owens. Owens makes his way onto the stage at the top of the ramp holding a mic. Rollins warns, “Kevin, before you begin, I need to warn you. Don’t get in over your head. Two weeks ago your partner Samoa Joe got in over his head, and he got taken out. Last week the same thing happened to Ivar.” Rollins goes on to say, “Whether you like it or not, I am your Monday Night Messiah, I am there Monday Night Messiah, and I am the universe’s Monday Night Messiah. If you stand alone, you will fall… alone.”
Owens begins, “Every week you come out here, and you run your mouth, and you sounds stupid as hell. Now you look stupid as hell on top of it.” Owens continues by saying he just keeps fighting and Rollins is wrong because Owens is not alone. Music sounds for The Viking Raiders.
Rollins tells Owens he’s never had a problem finding partners, he’s only had a problem keeping them upright. Owens pushes on Ivar, then pushes on Erik, neither moves an inch. Owens does it once again, proving they seem to have no problem standing upright, saying, “They seem pretty solid to me, and they seem just as tired of you talking, so gentleman… let’s go” as they run down the ramp.
Cocaina Clutch on Seth Rollins as Samoa Joe appears from behind him in the ring. AOP and Buddy Murphy fighting Owens and The Viking Raiders on the outside. Murphy ends up alone in the ring and Samoa Joe plants a Stunner on Murphy as music sounds for Owens.
