Report by Matt Phillips and Rajah.com

The Bludgeon Brothers defeated The New Day and Usos to retain their tag-team titles. Not a great deal to say about this, though New Day were as entertaining as ever.

Aleister Black defeated Alexander Wolfe to retain his NXT title. There was a nice video package introducing this. Black retained with the Black Mass after a fairly standard match.

Jeff Hardy defeated Rusev to retain his U.S. title. Hardy wasn’t looking like his particularly energetic self and possibly looked to be limping slightly on his way to the ring. Nonetheless, he retained with a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb. “Rusev Day” chants were prevalent throughout.

Tyler Bate, Wolfgang & Mark Andrews defeated Joseph Conners, Tyson T-Bone & Saxon Huxley. This was an exciting display from the United Kingdom guys. Bate won it for his team with the Tyler Driver ’97 on Huxley. Entertaining match all round.

Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Sin Cara. A surprisingly really enjoyable match. Almas won in the end, but it was an exciting display from Sin Cara as well.

Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz. Phenomenal match. It went a full 20-25 minutes and had a false finish from a Skull Crushing Finale. It absolutely stole the show and was pay-per-view quality.

Big Cass defeated Tye Dillinger. This was basically a squash match for Cass, who was still selling the beatdown from Bryan on SmackDown this week.

Asuka, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch & Naomi defeated Lana, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose & SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella. Asuka submitted Lana for the win. They had a pretty forgettable match.

AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson defeated Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro & Sheamus. Styles vs. Nakamura in a singles match was teased as the main event. But shortly into the match, Cesaro & Sheamus ran down to attack Styles before it became a six-man tag. It was the second best match of the night from there, ending when Styles hit Cesaro with the Phenomenal Forearm.
