William Regal Officially Announces Who Will Replace ‘Mustache Mountain’ in the Dusty Rhodes Classic

Earlier this week we reported that WWE UK star Tyler Bate had suffered a minor injury that would take him and his “Mustache Mountain” partner Trent Seven out of the ongoing Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

NXT General Manager has officially announced that Roderick Strong and a partner of his choosing will replace Bate and Seven in the tournament, after Strong took to social media asking Regal for an opportunity to land himself on the NXT Takeover: New Orleans match card. Those who have been following the excellent Cruiserweight Championship Tournament on 205 Live will know that Strong made it to the semifinal round before eventually losing to Cedric Alexander, who will go on to fight for the vacant title at WrestleMania 34.
