Jose Mourinho told his Tottenham coaching staff that “we’re f**ked” after Harry Kane picked up an injury last season.

Kane – who scored 24 goals in 34 appearances last season – tore a hamstring against Southampton back on New Year’s Day and failed to make an appearance until June 19 after the Premier League restarted.

After hearing the prognosis from the medical team, Mourinho declared to his coaching staff that they were “f**ked”.

Speaking to them in Portuguese he said (via The Sun): “Three months minimum….minimum. Three months if he doesn’t have surgery.

“Three months out. We’re f***ed.”

As part of the same All or Nothing documentary on Amazon Prime devastated Mourinho also told the players news of his dog’s death.

Mourinho said: “I think the majority of you know and some of you may think I am just an idiot but the reality is, I’m dead because my dog died. My dog died and I’m f*****. Deeply f******.

“I want you to know that because I don’t want you to think I am upset with you or I’m less confident so I am less happy. That has nothing to do with you at all.”

Kane asked him what type of dog, to which Mourinho replied: “A Yorkshire terrier. A little one. For 13 years he traveled everywhere. And he f****** dies on the 24th of December.”
