Vince Gives Announcers a Directive, News on WWE Trying to Get Internet Talking

— There was a scene during the last Raw when Kevin Owens and Kurt Angle were talking and in the back, an unidentified person was being wheeled in a stretcher by paramedics. WWE announcers ignored it but the cameras panned out in a clear attempt to catch the stretcher. This was reportedly a creative move to get “people talking on the internet” but it has seemed to prove a flop since either the audience missed it or they saw it and didn’t care.

— This past week’s Smackdown was held in Raleigh, North Carolina and Vince McMahon apparently told all the announcers not to refer to the site as “Raleigh” and instead say “North Carolina State” which is the college arena they were using. The reason for this is that McMahon apparently feels as if Raleigh doesn’t sound major league enough as other cities they run in. The only person to mention the city was Big E in an interview, otherwise the announcers on Smackdown and 205 Live stayed away from it.
