Matt Hardy has been teasing the return of the “Broken/Woken Universe” on social media over the past few days, and it appears that there will indeed be a special filmed at the Hardy Compound that will air on the WWE Network in time for Halloween this year. Hardy confirmed that production the project has officially begun. The belief is that the show will feature Hardy and members from the “Broken” era, and that if the special is a success, it will pave the way for an entire series of videos from Matt Hardy. There is still no exact premiere date or an official announcement from WWE’s end, but both of those are likely to change in the very near future. Expect to see the “Broken” gimmick return within the next few weeks on the WWE Network.

The National Wrestling Alliance will be hosting a huge show in honor of the promotion’s 70th anniversary, and owner Billy Corgan has been going all out and booking some major matches for the event. Case in point, it has just been announced that a new NWA National Champion will be crowned via an 8-man tournament. As if that was not enough, former WWE Superstar Jazz will be defending her NWA Women’s Championship during the NWA 70 show. These matches join the main event world title rematch from All In between Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes for the NWA World Championship. The historic NWA 70 will be taking place in Nashville, Tennessee and the show begins on October 21st

WWE’s Super Show-Down event will be headlined by a match between Triple H and The Undertaker this weekend. The Undertaker has been wrestling for decades and continues to compete occasionally for WWE, and although he seemingly has no intention of ending his in-ring career, that does not mean that “The Phenom” is invincible. During a rare interview appearance for Pastor Ed Young, “The Deadman” talked about all of the injuries that he has received over the course of his long career. Despite the list of hardships that The Undertaker has dealt with, he seems to be alright with still wrestling for WWE for the foreseeable future. His match against Triple H is being billed as their final match together, and it all goes down in Melbourne, Australia on October 6th. The show will be available to watch live on the WWE Network as well

“Both eye sockets have been crushed… they were separate, years apart. I’ve had probably… I’m guessing, I’m closing in on 20 different orthopedic type surgeries from just wrestling-related injuries. Both hips have had a form of replacement, torn biceps, torn pecs, torn triceps.” Undertaker told Young.
