UFC News: Chuck Liddell Wanted To Fight With Torn Hamstring

In an interview with ESPN Magazine, “The Iceman” Chuck Liddell said that after he recently tore his hamstring he still wanted to fight Rashad Evans at UFC 85 in June. UFC boss Dana White had to step in and tell Chuck they wouldn’t let him fight.

“I was going to fight, too,” Liddell says. But then White called and said to forget it, to heal up and come back 100 percent.

Liddell is expecting to return to the octagon after the summer.
