Kai Havertz enjoyed a new defining moment for Chelsea in a comfortable win which saw Tuchel extend his impressive unbeaten run to 11 games.
But the German boss was picked up by the touchline microphones berating Werner in the first half of the victory, according to the Evening Standard.
Tuchel said when the scores were still goalless: “Timo, how long are you staying on the left? You’re playing on the right!
“The last 15 mins you’ve only been on the left! Don’t you understand?”
Chelsea soon took the lead as Havertz’s finish was deflected into his own goal by Ben Godfrey, before Havertz then won a penalty which Jorginho converted.
But with Werner’s future supposedly in doubt, Tuchel’s frustration could add fuel to the fire.
