The Sydney designer furniture pop-up worth visiting this weekend
There’s only a few more weeks to visit furniture store Cult’s collaboration with Infinite Design Studio. With an incredible collection of art, iconic Cult design pieces and fabrics on display, and more importantly available to purchase, the concept has proved a great way to bring design straight to in-the-know Sydneysiders.
The chic collection of pieces, including furniture, lighting and accessories, were curated by Infinite Design Studio’s Michelle Macarounas, as part of her monthly Curated Edition series. The pop-up is located in the delightfully pink and buzzing Queens Court courtyard just across from the design firm’s studio.

The pop-up also has an impressive selection of artworks from Olsen Gallery, M Contemporary and Otomys, and fabrics from Kvadrat and South Pacific Fabrics, adding to the layered ‘at home’ feel of the space.
In the Cult showrooms across Australia and New Zealand, zones are curated by brand, in fact the Chippendale store in Sydney was recently refreshed to incorporate a dedicated space for Cult’s own distinctly Australia brand Nau. This allows each brand that Cult stocks to fully shine – from cool Danish classic Fritz Hansen to the fun and colourful Hay aesthetic. But in this pop-up, it’s a way for the public to envision how a combination of art, different furniture brands, lighting and even fabric could be employed in their own home. The store stocks much-loved European brands such as Poltrona Frau, Carl Hansen, Gubi, &Tradition, Louis Poulsen and Cappellini.
By adding a seriously sophisticated interior design presence to the destination Queen Street strip, Cult and Infinite Design Studio have expertly presented how different pieces styled together to create an entirely new and exciting look.
