The Rock Teases WWE Return: "I Can't Wait To Get Back To A WWE Ring" (Video)

Though seldom out of the spotlight, it has been a long time since Dwayne Johnson has performed under The Rock persona in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Johnson’s career in Hollywood took priority as he had multiple box office hits under his belt.

The most electrifying man in Hollywood and WWE alike, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson spoke with WWE’s Cathy Kelly on the red carpet for the Skyscraper premiere. Rock said it was great to be back in New York for the premiere as he had started his WWE career in Madison Square Garden, so the city will always be special to him. Kelly asked him if there was a chance of seeing The Great One make a return to the WWE, Johnson replied:

“I can’t wait to get back to a WWE ring,” said The Rock. “People always ask me ‘what’s it like being in a WWE ring?’ I always tell them there’s nothing like it. There’s nothing like inside a WWE ring because there’s a certain live crowd acumen that is second to none.”

The Rock added. “That was always and will always be the best part of my job when it comes to wrestling. Whether I’m wresting a match or just giving a promo. That connection with the audience, there’s nothing like it.”
