The Best Holiday Gift Is Kris Jenner in Ariana Grande’s Mean Girls-Inspired Music Video

Ariana Grande’s 2018 anthem “thank u, next” is the holiday gift that keeps on giving. It’s got all the bells and whistles of a chart topper, plenty of backup from celebrity guests, Mean Girls vibes, and now, a Kardashian. But not just any Kardashian; Ari has reportedly tapped the queen of them all, Kris Jenner.

TMZ reports that Kris is the not-so-secret Kar-Jenner who will be dancing (!!) alongside Ariana in her video, which drops Friday. This is truly the best case scenario for many reasons.

Number one: Kris Jenner dances unselfconsciously. For reference, see her bopping along to Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang,” as one does.

Number two: Ariana’s own mom was not so down to clown, and Kris is arguably the next best thing to your own mother.

Number three: Kris might play the Mean Girls Amy Poehler “cool mom” to Ari’s Regina George, which could very well give us a soundbite of Kristen Mary Jenner née Houghton, formerly Kardashian, offering Grande a “hump day treat.” We don’t know if we can handle that, to be perfectly honest.
