Street style highlights from London Fashion Week Men’s spring/summer 2020

Hot on the heels of New York Fashion Week Men’s, the industry’s editors, buyers and influencers are heading to the second stop on fashion’s biannual menswear calendar: London. From 7 to 10 June, the city’s buzziest emerging brands will show their spring/summer 2020 collections alongside more established names at the BFC’s Truman Brewery venues and beyond. On the roster? Fashion favourite Art School, H&M Design Award winner Ahluwalia Studio and LVMH Prize finalists Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, A-Cold-Wall* and Bethany Williams.

For a preview of what we’ll be wearing in the months to come, it’s worth looking beyond the catwalk, too. Street style in London is known for its “anything goes” approach, with attendees mixing and matching crisp suiting, deconstructed sportswear, plaid, puffer jackets and the season’s most covetable trainers. There’s also inventive layering, hats and trench coats aplenty – all the better to navigate the capital’s famously changeable weather. As the shows kick off, photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce is on hand to capture the best looks kerbside.
