Spurs inch closer to deal for £30m defender: ‘Talks continue today’
Tottenham are reportedly edging closer to completing a deal for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Spurs have until Ooctober 5 to complete a deal for the Slovakian centre-back, who has slipped down the pecking order under Antonio Conte.
Conte selected Aleksandr Kolarov, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Alessandro Bastoni as a back three in Inter’s 4-3 win over Fiorentina, their first match of the season.

‘Talks are advancing with Skriniar and Inter over a deal and they are set to continue today’, according to Football Insider.
Daniel Levy is thought to willing to offer £30million for Skriniar, who is believed to be Jose Mourinho’s primary centre-back target.
Speaking after the weekend’s win over Fiorentina, Conte told Sky Sports: “Skriniar to Tottenham? He’s part of our project here at Inter.
“But I don’t know if an important bid will arrive in the coming days… it’s possible that the club will consider it because of the financial situation.”
