Spurs ‘agree’ Doherty deal, Wolves target Arsenal replacement
Tottenham have reportedly agreed a deal with Wolves for full-back Matt Doherty as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his defence ahead of the new season.

It will be Spurs’ third summer signing, having already completed deals for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton and veteran goalkeeper Joe Hart.

Doherty has enjoyed another outstanding season for Wolves, scoring four goals and providing four assists from right-back.
Football Insider claim Tottenham have already agreed a fee with Wolves, thought to be around £12million, rising to £16million with add-ons.
And Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is already thought to be eyeing up replacements, with Arsenal star Ainsley Maitland-Niles the top of his wish list.
Spurs themselves had been linked with a move for the versatile 22-year-old, who is up for sale despite Mikel Arteta’s desire to keep him at the the Emirates.
Tottenham are hoping the deal for Doherty can be wrapped up in the next couple of days.
