Ryback Signs Short-Term Contract With CWL, Big Cass Cuts Promo

There have been quite a number of indie shows this past weekend as well as appearances from former and present WWE Superstars. It was previously reported that WWE Hall Of Famer Lita recently made an appearance for MCW where she was inserted into a Six-Man Tag Team Match as the referee. Former WWE Superstar Ryback also made an appearance for an indie show this past weekend. After a surprise appearance at a CWL Event, the company announced that Former WWE Superstar Ryback has signed a three week contract with the promotion, as seen below:

Another Former WWE Superstar Big Cass also made an appearance for Championship Wrestling League this past weekend and cut a promo. He appeared because he wanted to explain his side of the story regarding his release from WWE. He said that only three people in the world know what happened in the room when he was released and those other two guys aren’t going to say anything. Before teasing to give everyone the scoop, he went full heel and said that he wouldn’t do it because no one there deserves the truth. He also said that the truth would be revealed in the future on a “network” special for the “big guys.” He then insulted the promoter, the promotion and said that he was there for the money.
