Rumors on Possible John Cena’s “Free Agent” Storyline

On Raw, a graphic was displayed hyping the return of John Cena to Smackdown Live on July 4. It was very noticeable though that the graphic referred to Cena as a “free agent.”
As of this moment, it is unclear what this means for Cena. One possibility is this could be teasing a move to Raw and end up on a storyline with Roman Reigns because there has been rumors that WWE is looking for an opponent for Roman Reigns for SummerSlam. Another possibility is he could just remain on Smackdown Live and have a storyline with Jinder Mahal. Whatever this means for John Cena, more will become known over the next couple of weeks.
There is also a report from pwinsider.com which indicates that Cena could actually be appearing on both Raw and Smackdown, going back and forth between the two brands.
