According to PWInsider.com, former WWE star Elijah Burke was backstage at this week’s WWE Smackdown TV tapings.

Kevin Eck of Sporting News has published a new article covering former WWE star Rosa Mendes training for an in-ring return after having a baby and leaving WWE.

“I want to make history as a woman that was known as just a pretty face and garnish to a fierce in-ring competitor, and I won’t stop until I make that happen,” said Mendes, who moved from Newport Beach, Calif., to Pittsburgh during her pregnancy to live closer to her then-fiance’s family.

The article notes that Mendes is currently training at the MCW Pro Wrestling Training Center in Joppa, Maryland, in addition to taking care of her 2-year-old daughter Jordan, and tending to her lifestyle brand, Totally Fit Mama.
