Report: XFL Teams to be Announced Next Week; Identity of First City

— KSDK-TV, an NBC affiliate station out of St. Louis, is reporting that WWE will be announcing all of the cities that will be a part of the relaunch of the XFL league sometime next week and that St. Louis is going to be among them. The league is expected to play the 2020 season with 8 teams and they will all be owned by the league instead of a traditional franchise system with separate owners.

— The report adds that the St. Louis XFL team would play 10 games in total during the inaugural 2020 season with half of them being played at the Dome at America’s Center. St. Louis has been without a football team since 2015 after the Rams relocated to Los Angeles.
