Real to offer Man Utd up to three players in ‘possible’ Pogba deal
Real Madrid believe they can add Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to their imminent signing of Eden Hazard, according to reports.
The Frenchman has been linked heavily with a move away from United following a troubled season at Old Trafford.
Pogba, who was named in the PFA top-flight Team of the Year, had a brilliant resurgence after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho but his form has dipped again in recent weeks.
The France international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a while but the speculation has ramped up since Zinedine Zidane returned as their manager.
The Sun claimed a fortnight ago that Pogba ‘has made it clear’ to United that he wants to leave. But he can only go for £120million if he lodges a transfer request to leave.
However, The Times now claims that Real ‘would like to avoid making a straight cash payment’ for Pogba and would instead want like to ‘offset some of Pogba’s price by sending one or more of his current squad to United.’
The report adds that Gareth Bale is one player they would like to include in the deal with James Rodriguez, Theo Hernandez and Keylor Navas other possible players named in the newspaper.
Meanwhile, the report continues by saying that an agreement for Eden Hazard has been reached with a ‘guaranteed fee of €110 million (£88.5 million)’ being paid to Chelsea for the Belgium international.
