According to TMZ.com, Catherine Alexander, a tattoo artist from Illinois, is suing both WWE and 2K Games for what she feels is illegal use of the tattoo designs she has done for WWE star Randy Orton.

Alexander claims Orton’s back tattoos appearing in WWE video games is copyright infringement, as she owns the rights to the designs, which include a tribal tattoo on his upper back, as well as a full sleeve with everything from a Bible verse to a dove, skulls and a rose.

The report notes Alexander reached out to WWE back in 2009, and was offered $450 from the company, however she turned down the offer.

It’s unknown at this time how much money in damages Alexander is claiming in the suit, but it’s worth noting this is not the first instance of something like this, as LeBron James’ tattoo artist also sued 2K for the same reason.
