Palace ‘unimpressed’ with United as they make AWB demand
Crystal Palace were ‘unimpressed’ by the structuring of Manchester United’s £50million offer for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Wan-Bissaka has been named as one of 18 players United are targeting this summer, with the club ‘determined’ to sign him.

But Palace have been left distinctly underwhelmed with the nature of their opening offer, which has ranged between a ‘certain to be rejected’ £25m and around £35m.
The Daily Mail shed a little light on the situation, suggesting United’s first bid ‘was worth an initial £35m and up to £15m of add-ons’.
That has done little to tempt Palace into a deal, as they ‘were unimpressed by the bonuses and likelihood of all or the majority of them being achieved’.
The Selhurst Park club ‘want a much bigger fee up front’ in a transfer less dependent on clauses, so will demand ‘a guaranteed £50m’ in any Wan-Bissaka sale.
The Mail adds that ‘more talks’ will take place on Monday, and ‘there remains optimism’ at Old Trafford that the impasse can be eventually overcome.
