Opening Betting Odds For Rumored CM Punk vs. Floyd Mayweather UFC Bout

It looks like the CM Punk / UFC situation is getting crazier by the day.

As noted, Punk (0-1) has been rumored to be fighting Mike Jackson (0-1) in his second UFC bout at the UFC 225 pay-per-view in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois on June 9th.

Earlier this week, rumors began swirling about Floyd Mayweather potentially making the transition from boxing to MMA via the UFC, with rumors of him wanting to fight Punk in his first Octagon appearance.

While the fight is a long way from happening, the media is starting to bite, the Mayweather camp is fueling the fire with comments and now betting sites are releasing opening lines for a proposed Punk vs. Mayweather showdown.

Opening odds for such a fight have Punk a three-to-one favorite, opening at -300. Mayweather is set at +220, meaning a $100 bet on him if he were to beat Punk would net you $220 profit.
