WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Fuji (Harry Fujiwara) died at the age of 82 on Sunday (August 28), WWE has announced.
Fuji was a five-time WWWF/E tag champion prior to becoming a prominent wrestling manager on WWE TV.
During his last big run in the 1990s, Fuji famously managed Yokozuna to the WWF Title.
Fuji was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007 by Don Muraco, who joined Fuji for the infamous “Fuji Vice” WWF TV skits in the 1980s.
An unforgettable character in front of the camera and an even better one behind it. Rest in Peace, Mr. Fuji. pic.twitter.com/NkpQE8pyAU
