Nikki Bella Reveals Why She Cannot Marry Cena Right Now, Talks The Couple’s Future, Brie Bella Comments (Video)

Media appearances for the season premiere of Total Bellas roll on this week, as Brie Bella and Nikki Bella, The Bella Twins, appeared on the “Today” show this morning, just one day after John Cena returned for a two-day show hosting stint.

During the twins’ appearance, which you can watch above, the show hosts bring up comments John Cena made on the show earlier this week, and Nikki confirms that she was ‘shocked’ by Cena admitting he wants to marry Cena and have her children.

“John is absolutely an amazing man”, Nikki said. “And I truly love him so much, he’s my best friend. But I think that a lot of us that go through the wedding planning process, I think we kind of are forced to face these issues that we have just hiding deep down inside. And I just know that a healthy me will be a healthy us, and I do have hope for our future, but right now I need to work on me,” Nikki explained.

The hosts also asked Brie Bella what she thinks about the situation, and Brie noted that she loves both John and Nikki, and that she applauds her sister for being able to live an “open book” life, so she can be an example for other women going through the same issues as Nikki. Brie goes on to say she “can’t wait to see” how it all plays out on the show.
