Nick Aldis To Defend NWA Title Against Bellator MMA Fighter At WrestleCade

Nick Aldis has an opponent for his next high-profile defense of the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship, and it’s a pretty good one.

On the latest installment of NWA’s digital series, Ten Pounds of Gold, the match was announced to be Aldis defending against former WWE Superstar and current Bellator MMA Heavyweight fighter Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger). In the video, the match is also featured in a pre-show “Countdown” type documentary promoting the event.

Nick Aldis has regained the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship from Cody Rhodes at #NWA70 and his next major challenge comes from Jake Hager (FKA Jack Swagger from WWE) for the NWA Ten Pounds of Gold.
