News on Tonight's WWE Draft, Sasha Banks Update, Drew McIntyre to Return Soon?

— WWE’s draft tonight was a collaborative effort between the promotion and the networks, FOX and USA. While WWE structured which talent will go on what brand and ultimately will make the final determination, they consulted with FOX and USA heavily to ensure that each of those partners was satisfied with the talent that they were getting. When the draft concludes next week, it is expected that wrestlers will be kept separate and apart as much as possible.

— Sasha Banks suffered what was originally reported as a back injury at last weekend’s Hell in a Cell PPV. It has since been clarified by pwinsider.com that the injury was actually to her tailbone and Banks was kept out of action this entire week as she wasn’t cleared to wrestle by WWE’s medical team. It is unknown when she will be back in action.

— Drew McIntyre, who has been out of action due to an unspecified injury that required some sort of minor surgery that was reported to be unrelated to either a muscle or bone, is backstage at Smackdown tonight. There is a good chance that he will be back on TV imminently (i.e. tonight) as he will no doubt be drafted to one of the two brands and he is on the list for wrestlers eligible to be picked on the show later today.
