New IIT Syllabus Is Not To Produce Star Engineers Only, It Aims To Make Them ‘Good Humans’

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are all set to revamp their image. They don’t want their students to be recognised as tech-nerds anymore, and to ensure the same, the prestigious institutes are redesigning their courses.

The IITs want their students to be more holistically skilled. IIT Council, the governing body of the 23 such institutes in the country, has reportedly decided that subjects related to humanities, arts, and social sciences will be given more emphasis in the undergraduate programmes.

IIT Kharagpur plans to introduce courses in music and musical instruments. Following IIT Kharagpur, other IITs are also redesigning their core programmes.Click Here: liverpool mens jersey
