Neville ‘bored’ and impatient over Man Utd transfers
Gary Neville is ‘bored’ of Manchester United’s long pursuit of Jadon Sancho and wants to know who’s next on the transfer list at Old Trafford.
United are thought to be as close as they’ve ever been to landing Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. It’s been a long time coming.
They’ve been after the England international for the last two seasons but low-balled their way to disappointment last summer.
Dortmund rejected their upped bid of £72million last week, but United are thought to be willing to stretch to the £80million asking price.

It now seems to be a case of when, rather than if.
But Neville is ‘bored’ of the whole thing and is eager to learn the next player his former side will target.
Neville said on Twitter: ‘Manchester United closing in on Sancho… again!

‘A transfer should be a joy and a moment of excitement. I’ve never been more bored by a transfer in my life to the point I feel like he’s already signed and I want to know who is next already. Not the lads fault at all I should say!’
Sancho is currently part of England’s squad at the European Championships but barely featured in the group stage as Gareth Southgate’s side topped Group D with two wins and a draw.
His lack of game time has bemused Lothar Matthaus, with Sancho one of the standout performers in the Bundeliga for the last two seasons.
And those displays have caught the eye of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who has heaped praise on the winger.
Speaking to Bild, Fergie said: “I think a lot of Jadon Sancho. With his one-on-one duels, as an assister and scorer, he is extremely dangerous.
“He has so much potential, he helps the team. That’s why he’ll be valuable to England over the course of the tournament.”
