Mystery partner tag match set for AEW Dynamite

A tag team match has been signed for this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.

AEW’s social media announced this afternoon that Kenny Omega will be out for 1-2 more weeks due to an injury to his hand he suffered at Revolution last Saturday. As a result, Hangman Page will now team with a mystery partner to take on The Inner Circle’s Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a tag team match.

This stems from an altercation between Hangman and The Inner Circle that took place last week, where he made the save for the Young Bucks, Cody and Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall.

Already announced for this week’s Dynamite include Cody vs. Ortiz, Death Triangle (PAC, Pentagon Jr., and Fenix) vs. Joey Janela and Private Party, and Jurassic Express vs. MJF, The Butcher and The Blade. Additionally, rules for the Blood & Guts match taking place later this month will be announced.

Dynamite will take place this week at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
