Ndombele arrived at Tottenham last summer for a club record fee. However, the midfielder struggled in his first season in the Premier League.

The Frenchman made just 12 Premier League starts in 2019-20, with only five of those coming after Mourinho became the new Spurs manager.
Now, according to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are ready to sell Ndombele this summer. It may only be a year since he joined, but they want to cut their losses on him.
The report claims that Mourinho has two major doubts about the 23-year-old. First, he thinks Ndombele has not adapted to the Premier League, and second, he is unsure how much he wants to learn.
Therefore, Tottenham will be looking for a buyer for Ndombele before the transfer window closes. However, they may struggle to recoup what they spent on him – especially in the current financial climate.
The Mail adds that Mourinho will not freeze Ndombele out of the first team if he can’t sell him in time. But it appears an amicable departure may be in the best interests of all parties.
Inter Milan have shown an interest in the midfielder – who is quarantining in France after testing positive for Covid-19 – in recent weeks.
