More Top Names Backstage at Royal Rumble, News On Which Legends Were First to Be Booked for Women’s Rumble

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE Divas Michelle McCool and Molly Holly were the first two Legends to be booked for the Women’s Royal Rumble match last night. Molly Holly had been publicly stating that she would not be in the Rumble match as she was not in ring shape, however that was completely untrue as she had been training for the match for quite sometime, and trains wrestlers at Shawn Daivari and Ken Anderson’s wrestling school.

More WWE Stars Backstage at the Royal Rumble

As we confirmed last night and was later confirmed by PWInsider, The Undertaker was backstage at the Royal Rumble last night, to support his wife Michelle McCool, who had an impressive outing in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. McCool eliminated five women in the bout and was one of the longer lasting talents in the match.

PWInsider has also confirmed several other notable names were backstage at the Royal Rumble, including Paige. The Absolution leader was forced to withdraw from the Women’s Rumble match when she suffered a WWE in-ring career ending injury on December 28th.

Also backstage at the Rumble was Hall of Famer Pat Patterson, who is credited with inventing the Rumble match concept, Nikolai Volkoff as he lives in the area, and numerous NXT stars who were visiting as well as hoping to be used as possible surprise Rumble entrants. NXT names which ended up appearing in the match included NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas, Adam Cole and Kairi Sane.
