A Manchester United side worth £130.8million featuring Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic won a behind closed doors friendly against Sheffield United at their Carrington training ground on Tuesday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer used the same 18 players in the squads for each of the opening two Premier League games, which has prompted him to arrange friendlies to give game time to the large number of players on the United books that are not being given competitive minutes.

The full United starting XI was: Sergio Romero, Diogo Dalot, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Matteo Darmian, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Andreas Pereira, Angel Gomes, Alexis Sanchez and Mason Greenwood, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Pereira, Greenwood and Gomes scored in a 3-1 win for United.

Alexis Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan before the end of the transfer window, but the majority of these players will be on the books for United this season.
