Man Utd and Spurs target waiting on offer from Barcelona
Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek is waiting on an offer from Barcelona instead of a Premier League move, according to sources.
The Dutchman has been linked with Barcelona, Man Utd, Spurs and Real Madrid in recent months.
He’s emerged as one of the most valuable players in Holland and is the latest star to come through Ajax’s famed academy.

According to Sport (via Daily Mail), the player is prioritising a move to the Nou Camp ahead of a move to England.
He’s reportedly asked his agent to hold off on transfer talks and to wait for a bid from Barca.
Ajax have set their asking price at around £50 million as van de Beek is one of their most prized assets.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Barcelona don’t want to pay £50 million for the player now as they need to sell players first.
A potential transfer will therefore depend on the Spanish club’s ability to sell the likes of Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele.
The club are currently in the process of clearing out their squad following a trophy-less season.
Lionel Messi could also be on the verge of a shock move to Man City after he handed in a transfer request.
It’s thought that Messi’s departure is currently the main talking point among Barca officials, which means they aren’t actively looking at signing any players.
If they fail to meet Ajax’s demands, then Man Utd or Spurs could swoop in to sign the 23-year-old.
Van de Beek could add more creativity to either club’s midfield. He also comes from a proven pedigree of players from the Ajax academy.
Christian Eriksen, Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt have all graduated from the academy and gone on to sign for Europe’s elite clubs.
Van de Beek could become United’s first major signing of this transfer window. If he were to sign for Spurs, he would become their fourth summer signing.
