LVMH enlists the help of influencer Chiara Ferragni for prize panel
LVMH is increasing its digital presence. The luxury group has
brought influencer Chiara Ferragni on board as an expert to determine
the award recipient for its sixth edition of the LVMH Prize for Young
Fashion Designers.
The prize was launched in 2013 to recognize young designers under
the age of 40 with at least least two ready-to-wear collections. The
panel now has 62 industry experts across multiple forms of media.
Ferragni is one of 15 newcomers to the panel, along with Edward
Enninful, Naomi Campbell, fashion blogger Aimee Song, Hypebeast
founder Kevin ma, and Ssense.com co-founder Rami Atalllah.
“We are thrilled to welcome this year both prominent personalities
from traditional fashion media and professionals who have succeeded in
creating innovative online platforms for communication and commerce,”
Delphine Arnault, member of LVMH’s executive committee, told WWD.
