LOOK: Aleister Black and Ricochet Take their Final Bow for NXT at Takeover: New York
Aleister Black and Ricochet took what could be their final bow for NXT at Takeover: New York and April 5. The duo faced The War Raiders for the NXT Tag Team Championships at the event in a losing effort and now it seems they’re moving on from the black and gold brand.
This surely comes as no surprise to WWE fans, as Ric and Black have made quite the impression on the main roster over the past couple of months. The team has performed on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, where they have entertained fans every step of the way.
They now have another chance at tag team gold when they compete in a Fatal 4-Way at WrestleMania 35 for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships. Win or lose, it’s clear that Aleister Black and Ricochet have a bright future ahead in WWE.

Their match with The War Raiders was indeed one of 2019’s best so far. The two teams hugged after the match was over, as Rowe and Hanson paid respect to their opponents. Black and Ricochet embraced and shed tears, as the crowd gave them a standing ovation.
