Katherine Schwarzenegger wore a second dreamy dress to her wedding reception

Following Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt’s wedding at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California on June 8, the world was blessed with a look at their custom Giorgio Armani ensembles when the newlyweds took to Instagram to share their joy. 

In identical posts on their respective Instagram accounts, Schwarzenegger and Pratt thanked Armani for creating a “once in a lifetime dress” and “the perfect suit” for their special day. 

In a press release, the designer confirmed that Schwarzenegger walked down the aisle in a custom Armani Privé white crinoline lace bustier column gown, and Pratt in a Giorgio Armani made-to-measure navy wool suit with a matching vest. The bride accessorised her look with a short veil, which she wore with her mother’s longer tulle veil, and her grandmother’s earrings.

“Katherine and Chris are truly the ultimate beautiful bride and handsome groom. I am proud to have played a role in this couple’s wedding,” the designer said in the statement. 

“For them and for the bridal party, I designed elegant and sophisticated outfits, that would highlight their radiant personalities,” he added, confirming he was also responsible for the looks worn by the nine groomsmen, six bridesmaids, flower girl, maid of honour, and Pratt’s six-year-old son, Jack. 

The press release also made it apparent that Schwarzenegger did in fact change into a second look for the evening’s reception, which you can see below. The custom Armani Privé ivory silk-satin gown featured draped sleeves, covered-button detailing and a plunging back.

While Schwarzenegger’s custom Armani Privé gowns likely come with hefty price tags, we now know the dress she wore for her rehearsal dinner didn’t. As it turns out, the bride opted for an affordable gown in a romantic silhouette from sustainable label Reformation. Coined the Butterfly Dress, the look can be purchased online in an array of hues for just $402. 

Since the intimate ceremony took place, the newlyweds have each stepped out sporting their shiny new wedding bands. While Pratt’s, which was first seen on Fox Sports commentator Jay Glazer’s Instagram story, looks to be a simple gold band, Schwarzenegger’s appears to be a diamond-encrusted white gold band that sits neatly alongside her oval center stone engagement ring.
