Describe your perfect race day.

“Race days for me are usually work days, and while I love that, an ideal day would be to get dressed up with my friends and fully immerse myself in the amazing racing on offer.”

What outfit have you loved best?

“I loved my pink Dolce & Gabbana outfit for Oaks Day last year. Oaks Day is about dressing with femininity and I felt so feminine in it.”

Your fashion go-tos?

“Alessandra Rich – always fun and feminine. Gucci – so many race-day- appropriate options. Maticevski – for the ‘wow’ factor. Dion Lee – he does racewear so well and it’s timeless.”

The phrase you’ll most overuse during the Carnival?

“‘Hi, darling, you look gorgeous. I love your outfit!’”

What’s your greatest racing extravagance?

“Getting hair and make-up done every day. My call time often starts very early in the morning and I usually spend two hours in hair and make-up to be camera-ready.”

Where do you find the best …?

Shoes: Aquazzura. Sunglasses: Miu Miu. Bag: Christian Dior. Jewels: Chaumet. Lipstick: Marc Jacobs in Sugar Sugar. Fragrance: Jo Malone. Nail polish: Sally Hansen. Balmy Blush is the perfect nude to go with multiple outfits throughout the Carnival.”

Who do you take tips from?

“My dad, brother and mum all give excellent tips. When they all agree on the same horse, that’s where I put my money.”

Where do you go for beauty prep in Sydney?

“The Clinic in Bondi Junction. I opt for the Blueberry Antioxidant Peel and IPL to get rid of any pigmentation. I also head to Valonz for a fresh cut and colour. I want my hair in good condition for the Carnival, so I see Stuart Bane for colour and Renya Xydis for the cut.”

What is your drink of choice?

“Coffee and sparkling water for most of the day, and when work commitments finish, a glass of champagne.”

What’s always in your bag?

“Lip gloss and concealer for touch-ups – my current favourite is from Clarins. And a phone and a charger.”

Your tip for maximising Carnival comfort?

“Don’t wear brand-new shoes! Wear them in a few times before you spend a full day on your feet at the track.”

Favourite Melbourne haunt?

“Di Stasio Citta on Spring Street. Such great Italian food.”
