Karen Jarrett Talks Braun Strowman & Hardys, Tyson Kidd is Back

As mentioned earlier, Global Force Wrestling recently hosted another media call. Karen Jarrett was asked about the recent supposed incident involving Braun Strowman. When WWE and GFW were both in Nashville a few weeks back, Karen Jarrett reportedly loudly berated Raw star Braun Strowman in a bar. Braun apparently refused to sign an autograph for Jarrett’s son. The whole ordeal reportedly ended with Strowman signing one anyway before getting down on his knees and begging Jarrett to not tell her ex-husband Kurt Angle about the whole incident. When asked about the incident, Karen stated: “Oh my goodness, I can clear the air. It was a silly incident where you have two people in the wrestling business playing their characters. Being silly and it got blown way out of proportion.”
That wasn’t all that Jarrett was asked about during the call, she was also asked about the feud between her family and the Hardy family. She echoed her husband’s statements about taking “the high road” and said that there was a lot of work going on that most of the public has not been made aware of yet. Both she and Jeff Jarrett maintain that they are indeed the rightful owners of the “Broken Universe,” not Matt and Reby Hardy. Her full statement on the matter reads as follows: “I would love to see a resolution but there are always two sides to a story and facts to a story. There is a lot going on behind the scenes and things aren’t always what they seem to be. Commenting on it I don’t think is productive in any way shape or form right now. I think the best thing to do is let the attorneys handle it. I am taking the high road and trying to be as mature as possible as it concerns the entire situation.”
After suffering a devastating injury back in 2015 that rendered him unable to continue his wrestling career, Tyson Kidd was forced into an early retirement. He suffered a neck injury that only a reported 5% of people even survive. Luckily, it was reported earlier this year that Tyson was feeling better and that he was set to begin work as a backstage producer on the Smackdown brand. In a followup to those earlier claims, Kidd’s wife Natalya recently posted photos of herself and Kidd on her Instagram account backstage at the latest Smackdown show. It appears that Tyson is indeed working in that role now and his new job has officially begun.
