Inside the launch of Boffi's new Melbourne showroom
One of Italy’s most lauded brands has officially landed in the heart of Melbourne, bringing with it all the glamour Italians seem to do so well. Touching down in Collingwood, Boffi has well and truly made its mark, opening the city’s first flagship showroom to much fanfare. With a guest list that included the insiders of the Australian design world and direct from Italy, Boffi and DePadova CEO, Roberto Gavazzi, attendees drank French champagne and snacked on canapés from Bar Lourinhã to celebrate the opening of the new space.
Showing off the best in kitchen, bathroom and living area design, the showroom’s warehouse-style reimagining of a former historic gospel hall saw no detail overlooked in the creation of an exquisite, residentially-aligned space.
“It is a great privilege for us to display the De Padova and MA/U furniture collections alongside our Boffi range as they complete the story. Boffi, De Padova and MA/U are, indeed, a true marriage of aesthetics and philosophy,” says Edwina Withers, director of Boffi Studio Sydney and Boffi Studio Melbourne. “The three brands are passionate about absolute quality and longevity paired with innovative, contemporary design thinking. They are a visual complement and it allows us to talk to our clients in a more holistic way.”
Nodding to Boffi’s Italian roots, the showroom strikes a fine balance between the grandeur of Milan, the birthplace of Boffi, and a refined Australian aesthetic. See inside the exclusive launch event below.
