In May this year, celebrity couple Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas surprised the world by getting married in a Las Vegas chapel wedding, merely hours after attending the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. Turner, who is a Louis Vuitton ambassador, wore an affordable white jumpsuit, leaving many of us to think she’s more low key than we first thought.

But after teasing us with matching loved-up Instagram posts in Paris earlier this week, we can assume that reports of Vegas being the warm up were true.

According to a source quoted in way back in May, they were always planning a more spectacular wedding in France during the European summer. And after hosting her bachelorette party earlier this month, Turner has arrived in the South of France alongside her beau, with People publishing images proving that they’re set to wed (for the second time) at the magnificent Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, near Provence. Images show the young couple greeting guests on the steps of the opulent French chateau, with banners reading ‘Sophie and Joe’ and their wedding date hanging from the building.

We must say, it’s a pretty impressive venue for a wedding. Dating back to 1612, Château de Tourreau managed to survive the French Revolution and over the centuries has been improved and refurbished under different owners. Sitting on 20 acres of land, it contains six salons (or dining rooms), a games room, a stunning water fountain, a 25-metre pool, extensive gardens and even an orchard.

And with a number of beautiful suites on site, the chateau can sleep up to 29 guests, making it the ultimate destination wedding venue. No wonder it’s such a popular venue for couples to get married.

Of course, luxury in the South of France doesn’t come cheap. A listing on TripAdvisor shows that the Château de Tourreau comes with a hefty $6,652-per-night price tag. Somehow though, we’re sure the combined finances of a Jonas Brother and a Game of Thrones alum will be good for it.

While it’s likely that the famous pair will keep their wedding album private, one look at the incredible interiors and grounds of this estate and you can only imagine how dreamy they will be.
