On June 4, Moët & Chandon welcomed a slew of notable names to Sydney’s Town Hall for a celebration that served to mark the 150th anniversary of Moët Impérial, the French fine winery’s signature brut champagne.
Brand ambassador Jesinta Franklin (above) and Moët & Chandon president and CEO Stéphane Baschiera hosted a black-tie dinner that saw the likes of The Hon Julie Bishop, Olympia Valance, Erin Holland and Terry and Anthony Minichiello in attendance.
“It was an honour to host Moët Impérial’s 150th anniversary event last night with CEO, Stéphane Baschiera,” said Franklin. “The iconic venue, food, champagne and after party was an incredible celebration.”
Throughout the course of the night, guests sipped on bespoke Impérial 1869 cocktails, while dining on a two-course meal created by Guillaume Brahimi. For the occasion, the renowned French chef impressively paired the evening’s cuisine to the flavours of Moët Impérial.
After Baschiera and Franklin poured the 20-tier Moët Impérial champagne tower, surprise guest Hayden James took to the stage at the Moët & Chandon Studio 1869 after party – which was filled with celebrities, influencers, and media alike – for an intimate performance unlike any other.
