In Pictures: Boohoo unveils Paris Hilton collaboration
Boohoo has co-designed a summer collection with Paris Hilton, which
draws inspiration from fashion style in the early 2000s.
The 70-piece collection includes a range of ready-to-wear and swimwear
that recreates Hilton’s favourite trends and fashion moments, including
animal prints, slinky metallics, palm prints inspired by her home town of
Beverly Hills, “all pink everything”, and slogan pieces that boast her
famous mottos like “That’s Hot”.
Key pieces includes a palm print maxi dress that looks inspired by the
plunging Versace number J-Lo wore to the Grammys in 2000, a chainmail crop
top, a ‘That’s hot’ tracksuit, a high shine metallic mini dress, and a
‘Lit’ slogan embellished swimsuit. Everything in the range retails for
under 100 pounds.
Carol Kane, chief executive and co-founder, Boohoo.com, said in a press
release: “We’re excited to announce our latest global partnership with
American celebrity, Paris Hilton. Paris is everything the Boohoo girl is
and we can’t wait to have her on board with us for summer.
“Shot in her hometown of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, the campaign
embodies all the fabulous trends from the early 2000s that Paris Hilton is
best known for, giving a nod to her own style that we think our customers
will really love.”
To bring to life the collection, Boohoo shot the campaign in Los Angeles
at a private home in Beverly Hills, styled by Sammy K, and photographed by
Charlotte Rutherford, with Hilton posing with her famous dogs Diamond Baby
and Princess, as well as featuring throwback elements such as flip phones,
a vintage pink convertible, and flashy accessories to complement the full
Boohoo looks.
Hilton’s collaboration with the fast-fashion retailer follows the global
partnership with actress Zendaya earlier this year who launched a 90s
inspired collection. The online retailer has previously collaborated with
Jordyn Woods, Charli XCX, Stella Hudgens, Chantel Jeffries, Sailor Brinkley
Cook and Elisa Johnson.
