Impact Wrestling Bound for Glory 2021 set for Las Vegas
Impact Wrestling is headed to Las Vegas for Bound for Glory 2021.
During Slammiversary tonight, a video aired revealing that this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The PPV will take place on Saturday, October 23.
Impact didn’t announce which venue will host Bound for Glory.
The AEW, Lucha Libre AAA, and NJPW logos appeared in the Bound for Glory announcement video. In the main event of Slammiversary tonight, AEW’s Kenny Omega retained the Impact World Championship by defeating Sami Callihan in a no disqualification match. NJPW’s Jay White then appeared following the match.
Impact also revealed the date and theme for their next Impact Plus special tonight. “Homecoming” will air on Impact Plus on Saturday, July 31. The special will be built around a mixed tag team tournament to crown Impact Wrestling’s Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen.
Slammiversary took place at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee tonight. With a limited number of fans in attendance, the PPV featured Impact Wrestling’s first live crowd since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Impact had been holding closed set tapings at Skyway Studios since the start of the pandemic era.
