For unsuspecting victims, he appeared to be a perfect life partner material – was good looking, well educated, well spoken and well placed. But, behind the attractive profile on matrimonial sites was a Class-VIII dropout from Nellore of Andhra Pradesh, who had created the accounts for only one purpose – fraud.

The 23-year-old who used various pseudonyms and photos of other people introduced himself as a professor with a PhD and sent messages to several working women saying he liked their profiles and asked them to go through his profile.
