Great play of Piacezna in 2nd final

The final story repeats itself. Trentino and Piacenza were meant to meet again in the final and Piacenza was meant to win the second game, just like last season.

 

 

Piacenza had a fantastic start, sending a clear message out to Trentino. The hosts were extremely aggressive and quickly ahead 8-2. However, Trento was doing its part, with great serving. Still, Piacenza´s reception was hanging on and the set finished by two consecutive mistakes of Winiarski. The second set was pure show time in attack from Piacenza. You need to read the stats to believe it: 74% for the team. Lorenzetti´s boys were not only able to vary their game but they also dared. In the third set, Trento improved while Piacenza made too many mistakes, allowing Grbic and co to get back in the game.

But Piacenza´s players would not give anything more away. The attitude of Piacenza was just to win the game no matter what Trento will do. Focused at the net, some good digging and excellent work in attack made the 4.000 fans go wild. Piacenza will have at least Trento back in town for game 4.
